CAEP Commission Releases Draft of Next Generation Preparation Accreditation Standards for Public Feedback

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) Commission on Standards and Performance Reporting recently released its next generation draft accreditation standards for educator preparation for public input and feedback.

According to CAEP, the Commission has set challenging goals to enhance the value of teacher accreditation – goals that will change the guidelines for accreditation of educator preparation programs and add value to states that are in the process of reforming preparation policy.
